Artwork Presentation and Framing
The paintings in fiber and stitched paintings are stretched, matted with rag matboard and framed behind glass.
Stitched paintings are generally framed with aluminum sectional moulding in a neutral pewter color. The artwork is matted with a beige mat and is framed behind glass to protect it. Very large stitched paintings often have wooden frames and UV acrylic glazing rather than glass.
Small paintings in fiber (8"x8" and 10"x10") have black mats and black frames. Larger paintings in fiber (16"x16" and larger) have white mats and either a black or neutral metal frame. Very large pieces often have wooden frames and UV acrylic glazing rather than glass.
Birds are mounted on a black background and framed with a black wooden frame and no glass.
10"x10" abstracts are matted with black mats and have a black metal frame. Larger abstracts have white mats and either a black or neutral metal frame.
Artwork is also available matted, but unframed.
